Cooperation with Marion van Nieuwpoort by Poen de Wijs

This book is about the collaboration of Poen de Wijs, the Dutch painter of Modern Realism with Marion van Nieuwpoort, painter of figurative expressionism. Poen de Wijs is one of the great painters of Modern Realism of the 20th Century. The Multimedia Book series ‘Inside the studio of Poen de Wijs’ would not be complete without a final section on his cooperation with Marion van Nieuwpoort. Marion and Poen were partners for 35 years. She died in 2008. Her style was totally different of Poen and yet it proved possible for them to paint together. In this book, he discuss that cooperation, but above all, show and explain Marion's work.

Ze overleed in 2008. Haar stijl was totaal anders dan die van Poen en toch bleek het mogelijk voor hen om samen te schilderen. In dit boek (in de Engelse taal) bespreekt hij die samenwerking uitvoerig, maar vooral laat hij Marions werk zien en licht dit toe.
